The Barbell Basics program is intended for individuals who are new to the movements or techniques of Olympic Weightlifting. This program is designed to really break down the basics of barbell movements: the mechanics of the squat (back, front and overhead), the snatch and clean and jerk with practical application with weight.
Our Barbell Basics program is headed by our own Coach Sebastian Pardo.
Each class is 2 hours long in length and will focus on technical development of the lifts.
The program will run for 3 weeks, 3 Saturday classes in succession.
Classes will run from 10am – 12pm.
There is a 10 athlete max per cycle of the program.
We encourage all new athletes take Barbell Basics. If you are new to CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting with little to no prior experience, this program will be a great benefit. This program is the best introduction to Olympic Weightlifting in a smaller much more hands on environment.
