What were you doing before CrossFit?
Globo gyms here and there but mainly ‘trials biking’ has been my primary sport
How did you hear about CrossFit and/or CrossFit Trifecta?
I can’t remember who initially told me about CrossFit, I didn’t know them too well. I just remember after our conversation that my ego felt that it now needed to prove something, haha. So I looked up a local box at the time and went to my first class.
Give us some insight as to your thoughts after your first workout at CrossFit Trifecta.
After going to my first class @ Trifecta there was basically only one thought going through my head, “Why the hell didn’t I come here sooner!?”
Tell us a little about then vs. now. In regard to your fitness level before you found CrossFit Trifecta to now.
Pre-Trifecta, I had been doing CrossFit for a number of years but somewhere along the line lost my spark and felt pretty directionless. Since becoming a member @ Trifecta, it reminded me why I fell in love w/ CrossFit years ago and reactivated a part of me that felt dormant towards my strength and fitness. No question about it, I’m the strongest now than I’ve ever been. Numbers are up across the board. But beyond the ‘gainz’, what’s most exciting for me is I genuinely look forward to going everyday! Sweaty hugs, sharing smiles and slappin’ hands while getting more fit with my friends.
Do you have any special or favorite CrossFit Trifecta memories/moments?
Certainly a memorable moment for me was “max calorie assault bike” day!! …I’ve been scared to see it pop up again since, haha.
What advice would you give to someone just joining CrossFit Trifecta?
To the new Triber, “Pick a time and show up! The rest will work itself out.” (I gotta fist bump, high five and new dance move waitin’ for ya!)
